The Top Ten Metro Foreclosure Cities

According to RealtyTrac's Midyear 2012 Metropolitan Foreclosure Market Report, foreclosure activity in the first half of 2012 increased from the previous six months in 125 of the nations 212 metropolitan areas with a population of 200,000 or more.

The top ten metro foreclosure cities were Stockton, Modesto, Riverside-San Bernardino-Ontario, Vallejo-Fairfield & Merced California, Atlanta, Phoenix, Bakersfield CA., Las Vegas & Visalia-Porterville, CA at number 10.

Rockford and Chicago, IL were the only two Midwest cities to appear in the top 20 metros.
